I came here my last evening when I was travelling Tenerife. I've read in the reviews they had the best croquets. So I thought, let me try them, and get a nice piece of beef aswell. I arrived here at around 19h on a friday night, I guess that is very early on a friday night, because I was alone. I ordered the croquets as planned and a 500gr entrecote. I must warn you, if you order this alone, make sure you bring your A-game, I'm a pretty big guy, so I can eat, but this was alot. The croquets are definetly a 2 person starter, aspecially if you order a big piece of beef like I did. But boy did they not disappoint. They looked like something out of a michelin star restaurant, topped with some bacon and dressed with some saus. I can definetly say these where the best croquets I've tried in Tenerefe. The entrecote was grilled perfect to my liking. Often people would not eat the white fat on beef, as it can be a little bit hard. But I try it every time, and just as you expect from a good piece of Argentinian meat, it melted like butter, full of flavor in your mouth. But what made this experience so likeable for me, was the warm, welcoming attitude of the waiters. There was one from Venuzuela, and one from Cuba (didn't get there names), and they where very kind and social. The price was a little bit more then expected, but I do think I ordered big for 1 person.

Excellent choice if you are looking for a quiet, bespoke experience. The croquettes are the best I've ever had, even after living in Spain for 25 years. 100% recommended.

If you can only eat one place in tenerife it should be here. We had tapas with potatoes with the canarian sauce, which were perfect, fish tartare which was absolutely unreal, balanced and delicatea and the salad with the tomatoes which were a showstopper, probably the best salad Ive ever had. Staff was kind and it was a very nice atmosphere, and value for money was without a question brilliant! Thank you so much for the luxerious food and welcoming service, what an experience!

We were drawn in to the restaurant by the host, Adam. His bright smile and enthusiastic personality enticed us to give the restaurant a try and we were not disappointed! We went for the tapas, and the food was both filling and fresh. We enjoyed ourselves greatly!

We discovered this restaurant during our holiday in Tenerife, and it completely exceeded our expectations, we even went back the next day, best food we have had in a long time! On our first visit, we had some empanadas that were absolutely delicious, the kind of flavor that feels homemade, like something a mom would make with love. We also shared a salad with tomatoes and different fruits, which was fresh and perfectly balanced, and a meat grill that was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. We loved it so much that we returned the next evening to celebrate my friend’s birthday. This time we tried another refreshing salad, some breaded aubergine that was crispy and tasty, and of course, the same incredible grill for the main, we just couldn’t resist! The food is fantastic, but what really makes the experience special is the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Alejandro, who works there, made us feel right at home, friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind.If you’re visiting Tenerife, this place is definitely worth a visit (or two!) delicious food, great vibes, and wonderful people.

It was amazing, went there for dinner on my birthday. The waiters were really friendly and welcoming. Food was 10/10 we ate empanadas and beef entrecôte. I recommend it.

Very good food, surprisingly reasonable prices. Good service, nice relaxed atmosphere. They have good wines for a reasonable price. The meat was exceptionally good and prepared perfectly. The service was very personal and relaxed.

After wandering around for about an hour and only finding tourist orientated places, we turned down a back street and discovered Gonzalo's. The guys running this place were terrific. Nothing was too much trouble. When they ran out of sugar free Coke, they went to a local place and got some for me. Food was very good and portion sizes were far too big for us. My wife had the entrecôte steak, medium rare, which was juicy and just perfect. It came with some thin sliced chips, which again were properly cooked. I ordered the Argentine dumpling and fried chicken in a honey/mustard dressing. I received an enormous portion, which I couldn't finish. Never had Argentine dumpling before, but will again if I find somewhere that does them this well. Overall, we were very happy with our lunch, which came to just under €60, including drinks. They do a fine job here; good food, cooked properly and friendly service. Next time we are in Tenerife, we know where are having lunch. Make the effort to find this place, it's just a short walk from the cruise ships. Thanks so much for the great food.
